- Size the transformer from connected load x diversity / power factor, with 20–25% growth margin.
- Use type-tested (IEC 61439) panels for PCC/MCC.
- Choose Al armoured XLPE for long feeders, Cu for small sizes and control.
- Fit APFC to hold PF ≥ 0.95–0.99 and avoid utility penalties.
