The desk does two kinds of work. One is the catalogue: industrial products with the specification, the HSN and the ex-GST rate when a rate is published. A buyer searches, compares the makes that are actually listed, and raises an RFQ or a purchase list. Freight is confirmed separately. A line without a published rate stays price on request. The other kind of work is engineering and installation: fire hydrant and sprinkler systems, gas suppression, detection, HVAC, electrical HT and LT, process and utility piping, PEB sheds, and the design, audit, testing and statutory support around them.
An order usually starts in one of three places. If the product is known, open the catalogue and send the RFQ. If the duty is known but the SKU is not, open the engineering hub, enter the duty and take a drawing and a bill of quantities. If a bill already exists, upload the PDF, the spreadsheet, the Word file or a photograph. The desk matches the lines it can read. A licensed engineer still stamps a drawing that has to be submitted to an authority. A quotation is issued from the enquiry. It is not a number printed on a marketing page.
The service area is Gujarat first: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bharuch and Padal (Kheda), and plants elsewhere in the state when a visit is agreed.
