Pipe head loss
Friction head uses Hazen–Williams with C = 120, the same expression the engineering desk uses for fire water. IS 13039 and NFPA 13 both use that form for water mains.
Flow, length and bore are the only inputs. Add static lift and the residual pressure at the outlet yourself. The result is metres of friction head, not the full pump head.
Hazen–Williams, C = 120. IS 13039 and NFPA 13 use this for fire water.
Friction head 8.4 m. Add static lift and the residual pressure at the outlet.
