Hydrant pump
Shaft power uses the fire-pump expression already on the engineering hub. Flow in litres per minute is divided by 60,000 to get cubic metres per second, then P = 1000 × 9.81 × Q × H / (η × 1000). The standard named there is NFPA 20, IS 12469 and TAC.
Jockey flow is 3 percent of the main flow, the same factor the hub prints. Efficiency stays between 0.4 and 0.9. This page does not print a pump price.
P = 1000 × 9.81 × Q × H / (η × 1000). Q is L/min ÷ 60,000. NFPA 20, IS 12469, TAC.
Q = 2280 / 60,000 = 0.0380 m³/s. P = 1000 × 9.81 × 0.0380 × 70 / (0.70 × 1000) = 37.3 kW. Jockey about 68 L/min.
