Fire water tank

Tank volume follows IS 13039. Cubic metres equal pump flow in litres per minute, times the duration in hours, times 60, divided by 1,000.

The worked hint on this desk is 3,400 L/min for 3 hours, which is 612 m³. Duration is a hazard input from IS 13039:2014 Table 4, not a tank you already own. NBC 2016 Part 4 and TAC sit behind the occupancy. This check does not replace the hydraulic.

Volume m³ = flow L/min × hours × 60 / 1,000. IS 13039. Hint: 3,400 L/min × 3 h = 612 m³, the same duty the engineering hub uses for this plant.

Tank 612 m³.
